There’s nothing quite like welcoming a new baby into the world, especially when it means you get to celebrate in style. Recently, we had the pleasure to photograph a nautical themed baby shower at the Balboa Bay Resort. Adorned with seashells and splashes of blue and white (not to mention that absolutely gorgeous balloon wall), this was the perfect location to celebrate mom and baby boy with friends and family. Parents ask: What if my child cries with Santa?

It is completely fine. We take our time, let them warm up, and follow their lead. Some kids jump right in, others are more timid and shy. Both are normal and both make sweet memories.
