Hilary + Steve – Quail Ranch Wedding

This was our first Quail Ranch wedding and we cannot wait to be back to this hidden gem! This place is incredible and the staff is ready to help you at every turn- from fine details when setting up, to the valet! It is always fun for us to explore new wedding venues but even better when the property’s owner gives you a tour 🙂 We LOVE this wedding and are so happy for Hilary and Steve to start their new lives together.

How did you meet?

Steve & Hilary met for the first time in 2013 when Hilary’s new roommate took her to a trivia night to introduce her to more people. Hilary had just moved to New Orleans and did not know anyone. Steve and Hilary met briefly, but went their separate ways until February 2015. Funnily enough, Hilary & Steve matched on Tinder! They both recognized each other and remembered meeting 2 years earlier. Their first date was at a bar and sparks flew from then on. Tinder was also deleted the day after their first date!

The proposal?

Steve prepared Hilary’s favorite breakfast – pancakes! All the pancakes were heart-shaped and the tray with the pancakes were surrounded by red roses. The ring was propped up in the center of the roses. When Steve brought Hilary the tray with the pancakes and roses, he bend down on one knee and popped the question! The delicious pancakes were then consumed as fiances!
