Gilmore Studios is located in Newport Beach, California in the heart of Orange County – just minutes from the 73, 55, and 405 freeways. Our portrait studio was designed for babies and children but it’s also great for family and headshot photography.
OUR CREATIVE TEAM
Gilmore Studios has been photographing weddings and portraits around southern CA since 2003. When we started our company, we were strictly wedding photographers but when our couples started growing into families we knew it was time to grow with them! Every year, we photograph hundreds of newborn babies, children, and families in the studio and on location.

VACATIONING IN ORANGE COUNTY
For families traveling to So-Cal on vacation, let’s meet up for a family portrait! We have met hundreds of traveling families at hotels, parks, beaches, and even Disneyland! We know the coastal area very well and are happy to help you find the perfect location for your session. Give us a call (949) 698-3968 and tell us what type of look you are hoping for. After we help you plan your perfect session, you will reserve your date by paying your session fee ($250). Two weeks after your session, we will post your photos on our password protected image proofing site. Here you will be able to have all of your family members choose their favorite shots from the session. Next you will place your order. Choose a custom made photography product, pick images for a beautiful album to remember your trip, or even download high resolution files.
FAMILY REUNION SPECIALIST
Jennifer is the 6th of 7 children in her family! We are used to loads of crazy kids and large families- and are up for any challenge! Since we are near the beach, it’s very common to find us there photographing families. Let us know if you need help with locations or colors for everyone’s outfits.
CAKE SMASH BIRTHDAY SESSIONS
One of the most popular sessions at the studio is the cake smash session! We will work with you to create a custom set with a matching cake created by an amazing local bakery. This is very popular with 1st year birthdays but will work with any toddler!
BUSINESS PORTRAITS AND HEADSHOTS
Need a new headshot? Call Gilmore Studios to schedule your in-studio or on location business portrait. If your staff also needs headshots, ask about a group rate! We can bring our studio to your office. We will provide you with retouched full resolution digital files and complete with sizes for online use.
DESTINATION WEDDINGS
We are also destination wedding photographers and have traveled as far as Hawaii, Washington DC, and New York. We love to photograph unique and luxurious ceremonies and receptions. Check out the blog for recent wedding locations.
CALIFORNIA LDS WEDDINGS
Our studio is only a few minutes away from the Newport Beach LDS Temple. We offer complete wedding coverage or “temple only” coverage. Be sure to mention how many hours of photography coverage you will need when you send your inquiry. INDIAN WEDDINGS
We love Indian weddings! We always tell our Indian clients that we want to get married again and have an Indian wedding ???? There are so many amazing details to capture and so many historic traditions to document. We have had the pleasure of photographing traditional Indian weddings in Long Beach, Newport Beach and San Diego.
