Gilmore Studios have been photographing Debutante Balls in Southern California since 2003. Jennifer Gilmore was a National Charity League debutante in Newport Beach during her teen years and loves working with these young women. Organizing event photography for large groups of people- in a short period of time is no easy task! Thanks to the hundreds of weddings they have photographed over the years, Jennifer and her husband Brian have no problem when it comes to working in a high paced environment. Gilmore Studios is a team of talented wedding and Event Photographers in Los Angeles and Orange County.

Choosing a theme for your baby’s first birthday session doesn’t have to feel overwhelming. And honestly, the most beautiful sessions I’ve photographed weren’t the most elaborate ones.

I always recommend:

One casual or flowy look - a dress, a relaxed outfit, something you feel easy and comfortable in
One slightly elevated look - still natural, but a little more styled

That gives us variety without making the session feel rushed or stressful. More outfits don’t equal better photos. Two intentional choices are always more than enough.
