New Digital Backgrounds from Gilmore Studios

Introducing our latest photography venture; Digital Backgrounds are now available in our new Etsy shop Adored From Afar. With covid19 turning so many photography studios upside down, we decided the only solution was to create virtual backgrounds for our fellow photographers.

What is a Digital Background?

Digital Backgrounds are photos of themed sets without the baby. These backgrounds can be used over and over again. Photographers can take the baby photos inside their clients homes or even coach their clients how to take them with their phones. These photos can then be placed into any of our custom themed backgrounds! We are also developing tutorial videos to instruct you how to use these digital backgrounds, and more importantly, how to light your subjects correctly.

Our team created hundreds of unique digital backdrops for newborn and cake smash photographers! Newborn and cake smash creations can be seen on our Etsy shop. If you want us to create a particular theme, let us know! The studio has thousands of props waiting to be used and we love creating new designs for newborn photographers. How do you prepare to say goodbye for two years?

This family has six boys, and one was about to leave for Finland on his mission. They scheduled this session a few weeks before he left, knowing how important it was to have everyone together in one place before such a big change.

These are the photos that hold so much weight later on. Not because everything is perfect, but because everyone is there. If you are heading into a season of transition, this is your reminder to pause and document it.

The power was out in the church during this baptism, which made everything feel quieter and more intentional. Just family, faith, and a moment that truly mattered. Sometimes simplicity has a way of stripping things back to what is most important.
