Most people assume the photography begins the night of the event. In reality, the process starts months earlier.
Each debutante visits my garden studio in Newport Beach in the fall for her individual portrait session.

Once the evening begins, everything moves quickly.
That’s why we photograph the most important moments before guests arrive.

Waltzing, Celebration, and the Joy of the Evening
After the formal presentation, the atmosphere shifts from ceremony to celebration.
Fathers and daughters waltz together, escorts join the dance floor, and guests begin enjoying dinner and conversation. Throughout the rest of the evening I photograph families with their guests, small groups of friends, and the dancing that naturally follows.
These candid moments often become some of the most cherished images from the night.
They capture the laughter, the pride, and the joy that surrounds such a meaningful milestone.
