Newport Beach Family Photographer – Back Bay Portrait Session

Another gorgeous session at the Back Bay. It’s hard not to come back here for every family portrait. I hate to wear out our photo locations but this place consistently produces beautiful results! As soon as the sun hits the horizon, the lighting is unreal! We have been a Newport Beach family photographer for 14 years now and I’m sure we will be back here again next week.

This family is one of our favorites. They document every milestone so we get to see them quite often. She is also my orthodontist, and is seriously THE BEST in Orange County! 🙂 The formal attire made this session so cool. They look like they are heading to a red carpet event! You really can’t go wrong with this style of portrait- and every guy looks sharp in a suit!

Newport Beach has almost every look you can imagine. From sunsets on a beach to gorgeous yachts in a busy harbor. Most people think surf and sand- but the Back Bay has a warm rustic feel that beats the beach any day! We actually love to bring our family here for bike rides and nature hikes on the dirt paths. You can find wildlife, wild flowers, and the kids love to explore the trails.

Parents ask: What if my child cries with Santa?

It is completely fine. We take our time, let them warm up, and follow their lead. Some kids jump right in, others are more timid and shy. Both are normal and both make sweet memories.
