The Tivoli venues have a special place in our hearts here at Gilmore Studios. Back in 2003, when we started our business, we booked our first Tivoli Too Wedding. We hit it off with the manager at the time and asked if we could make a sample album for the venue. He accepted, and we immediately started to receive leads from brides who saw it! We ended up booking so many weddings that year- that they made us a preferred photographer for both Tivoli Terrace and Tivoli too! We have been photographing Tivoli Too Weddings ever since.

We decided it would be fun to go back into the photo archives and pick out some of our favorite photos from the past. There is so much you can do with your wedding decor and they provide almost all of it. One of our favorite Tivoli too weddings was for a past Tivoli Terrace wedding coordinator. He brought in custom lighting, dance floor, and drapes.

Tivoli Too!, a stunning European courtyard, is the ideal location to host your romantic wedding and reception. Tivoli Too! is surrounded by the picturesque hills of Laguna Beach in beautiful Southern California. When you walk through the imported iron gates of Tivoli Too! you are transported to a place of old world romance, complete with a sixty foot mural of the Tuscany countryside.

Depending on the time of year your reception may be in our grand tent draped with lush fabric and twinkle lights or in the open air courtyard where you can dine al fresco by candlelight, surrounded by the beauty of our lush green trees, flowers and fountains. Whether by sunshine or starlight Tivoli Too! is the perfect location for your special day.

How do you prepare to say goodbye for two years?

This family has six boys, and one was about to leave for Finland on his mission. They scheduled this session a few weeks before he left, knowing how important it was to have everyone together in one place before such a big change.

These are the photos that hold so much weight later on. Not because everything is perfect, but because everyone is there. If you are heading into a season of transition, this is your reminder to pause and document it.
