Montage Laguna Beach – Sarah & Zachary

We were so happy to be back at the Montage Laguna Beach resort for Sarah and Zach’s destination wedding! Since they live on the east coast, they had the task of planning their wedding and plenty of travel arrangements for family and friends. Sarah and Zach were the perfect bride and groom! They were never stressed and enjoyed every second of their big day. Their families were so sweet and made us feel like part of their crew!

The bridal suite was in the newly remodeled wing at the resort and the views of the ocean from their balcony were breathtaking! Sarah and her girls had their hair and makeup done by Design Visage. Zach and the guys were on the other side of the resort waiting for orders! After everyone was ready to go, we met up in the lobby for their first look photos. Next, we headed outside for family formals.

Montage Laguna Beach Wedding – Studio Lawn

Sarah and Zach’s wedding was on the lawn in front of The Studio. The studio is a restaurant on the Montage property right between the pool and the ocean. It was perfect for their intimate wedding and can hold up to 100 guests. There is a small dining room right next to the private lawn so it feels like you have the place all to yourselves. The Studio restaurant and bar is open to the public, but you would never notice. Coastal views are second to none and the sunset was incredible! If you are looking for a venue with an oceanfront view, you’ll have to check out the Studio!

Perfecting Event Planning

Ilana and her team from Perfect the Event had this Montage Laguna Beach wedding dialed! They made sure the timeline was on schedule from the moment we arrived until we made our way to the valet. Experience is everything with event planners. We always know within the first hour if it’s going to be a smooth or crazy day! Someone from their team was always with the bride, even when the ceremony and reception area was being assembled. Mulberry and Moss created all of the beautiful floral decor for wedding. It was such a beautiful day! We hope to work with this awesome group again soon!

How Did your guys meet?

We met in San Diego, CA when Sarah was was finishing Law School.

How did he propose?

Zach proposed at skyline drive in the Virginia mountains, then we celebrated at our favorite B&B in Virginia wine country.
