We met up with Carrie and Sam for a quick Corona Del Mar engagement session. They are having a destination wedding in Mexico next year. Don’t you just love Carrie’s dress?

The City of Newport Beach is an absolutely beautiful part of Southern California that allows for some truly great and unique sites for engagement photography.

There is the nice stretch of beach with plenty of flavor and backdrops to provide great photographs within Newport. Close by is the Balboa Fun Zone with it’s fun beach walk feel and the Newport Harbor right around the corner- we’ll be sure to get a wide variety of shots all in one spot.

Another great location for your engagement photography is the Newport Beach Pier. This is a venue that is just gorgeous all around. It presents for wonderful pictures. There are also various churches in the area that have characteristic chapels which make for great pictures as well.

There are so many places in Newport Beach that will add color to your engagement photography; the list is endless.

Having your engagement photography in Newport Beach can’t be a bad idea. With classy venues and beautiful coastal scenery your engagement photos are sure to be quite impressive.

Our favorite engagement locations in Newport Beach

Crystal Cove: Crystal cove is definitely one of the more historic beach locations in the area. It features gently sloping hills, deeply wooded canyons, sandy beaches and ridges that will bring beyond beauty to your photographs. Crystal Cove has a small collection of beach cottages that can be rented out but are reserved far in advance.
Fashion Island mall: Fashion Island is one of the top shopping and dining malls in OC. Most of the mall is outdoors with fountains, coy ponds, and very high end shops. It’s a fun spot to take engagement photos but be sure to get dinner from one of the many fine restaurants.
