Las Niñas Debutante Fashion Show and Rose Ceremony – Event Photography
We took a drive up the coast to the beautiful Terranea Resort in Rancho Palos Verdes, CA for the Las Niñas debutante fashion show and rose ceremony. This is one of our favorite debutante events that we photograph each year! They had a really cute boutique shopping area right outside the ballroom. The production was top notch! There were lighting techs and video guys everywhere. The debutante fashion show was exactly like one you would see in a fashion magazine. The girls’ outfits were provided by Cason Couture and the boys fashions were provided by Blvd. and Friar Tux. Makeup was provided by Smashbox Cosmetics. All proceeds from the tickets and raffle are donated to the Orthopaedic Institute for Children. Las Niñas is an amazing group made up of mother & daughter volunteers. Each girl in the senior class has contributed between 300-600 hours of volunteer service throughout her high school career. Their time is dedicated to helping poor families and their children, helping at the Orthopaedic Institute for Children hospital, and various other functions of the charity. Gilmore Studios has been photographing Debutante Balls and events in Southern California since 2003. Jennifer Gilmore was a National Charity League debutante in Newport Beach during her teen years and loves working with these young women. Organizing event photography for large groups of people- in a short period of time is no easy task! Thanks to the hundreds of weddings they have photographed over the years, Jennifer and her husband Brian have no problem when it comes to working in a high paced environment. Gilmore Studios currently photographs various chapters for the National Charity League, Assistance League, and Las Ninas.
