Maternity & Newborn Photography Packages at Gilmore Studios

For the couple that wants to be sure each stage is documented, we offer maternity & newborn photography packages! We will get your family on the calendar so you don’t need to even think about it. Most of our couples end up purchasing the “Watch me grow” package as well. This package documents 3 month, 6 month (sitting up) and 1st birthday. Your new baby will change so much in his/her first year of life, you will treasure these photos for decades to come!

Maternity & Newborn photography packages are great as gifts for family members, and are perfect for decorating your brand new nursery. This outdoor maternity session was done on the beach in Corona Del Mar. The newborn portraits were done in our studio in Costa Mesa. Maternity & newborn photography packages are so much fun, as we get to be a part of the beautiful journey towards birth with expecting parents! Thanks so much to this family for inviting us to be a part of this little girl’s story!

In my experience, shooting during the first few weeks is ideal. During these early days, babies tend to sleep more and curl up in those naturally cozy positions we all adore in newborn portraits. Make sure to reach out and get on the calendar before the baby is born. We want to have some wiggle room with timing once the little one arrives.

The open environment at Back Bay invites your kids to explore, walk, and twirl safely. I’m there to guide you into natural poses, creating moments that are genuine rather than staged. The golden hour (right before sunset) is the best time for a session at this location.
