CDM High School Water Polo Team Photography

We have been photographing the Corona Del Mar High School girl’s water polo team since 2009! We love that they choose the beach to do their photos every year. The senior girls are the first kids to arrive. They wear cute black dresses for their solo and group portraits. When the rest of the team gets to the beach, the seniors change into their regular team outfits. After we get through all the individual portraits, we get the teams together for their team photos. The beaches of Corona del Mar are a great place to take your high school team portraits. Be sure to check with the city for proper photo permits.

How it works

The hardest thing about taking team portraits is keeping it organized. Since we have been doing cheer photography for so many years, we have a great system to keep everything organized! Each student gets a form the week before that they have already filled out. When they turn in their form and payment, we take a photo of the info right before each portrait session. If a student forgets their form, we always have extras on hand. Some parents choose a photo package while others just pay a sitting fee. The entire portrait session is then put on a password protected hosting site, where parents can browse the proofs and choose their favorites.

It can’t replace a baby laughing so hard he makes the whole room laugh.

It can’t replace a daughter kissing her mom after taking those last few steps down the aisle.

It can’t replace a blind father holding his daughter during a dance he will remember for the rest of his life.

It can’t replace a mom hugging her boys without realizing one day she would be looking back at that photo wondering where the years went.

It can’t replace the tear rolling down a military groom’s face when he finally sees his bride walking toward him.

It can’t replace a groom quietly wiping his bride’s tears during the ceremony because that is just who he is with her.

It can’t replace a big sister looking up at her dad while he holds the baby she is already completely in love with.
