Surfing Engagement Session – Kimberly + Mark
This was one of our favorite e-sessions! We have always wanted to photograph a surfing engagement session and honestly, this is magazine worthy! When we saw Kim in that red dress, the first thing we thought was, how is she going to get on that surfboard? She was so brave! Mark told her when to run and they made it out there beyond the surf without falling. We also loved the red roses in the water!

Our Love Story
How did you guys meet?
We met through mutual friends and would randomly run into each other out in Newport. Two years later, I was sitting on the beach and took a picture of the water and posted it on my snap-chat story. Mark saw my story and instantly messaged me asking if I was going to be on the beach much longer, and if he could come join me. We spent all day on the beach getting to know each other, and from there on, we’ve been inseparable. Our first real date was shortly after. He took me to the opening night of the Opera in LA followed by dinner… I felt like pretty woman (minus the whole hooker part 😉
How did he propose?
I was a former Charger Girl during college down in San Diego. I went to the Alumni Charger Game with my best Cheer leading friends December 3, 2017 at their new stadium in LA. It was a girls day and Mark supposedly had his flight lesson or so he said. My friends and I were at the welcome party before the game started with fellow cheerleaders and alumni Charger Players. All of a sudden, the band came marching out from the tunnel. I stood dead center in the front and was filming the band for my Instagram story when all of a sudden I spotted Mark skipping out from the tunnel with the band. He came right up to me and got down on one knee and proposed in front of everyone. I of course said YES!!! He picked me up and twirled me around with lots of kisses as the stadium blasted our favorite song. They congratulated us with glasses of champagne and my friends gave me a veil to wear to the game. We had the best seats in the house for the entire football game. I got to enjoy the game with my girls and my new fiance. My girl friends were all in on it and helped Mark plan out the day. I did not have the slightest idea that I was going to get proposed to at the Alumni Charger Game. Best surprise of my life!
