M&M’s Lido Isle Engagement Photography session was gorgeous. As it turns out, Jennifer went to high school with Megan and they know a lot of the same friends in Newport Beach! Crazy small world 🙂 We had a really fun engagement session at their family’s home in Lido Island and the Back Bay.

We can’t wait to photograph their big day at the Newport Beach Country Club!

From the couple

  • After initially contacting each other on a new dating app, Megan and Max had their first date on Leap Day of 2016 at Sens in San Francisco. After the first bottle of wine, and then the second, they knew it was a match. After Max promised Megan a life of adventure, they have spent their time together; ATVing in Pismo Beach, Antiquing in Detroit, chopping down Christmas trees in DC, boating in Vermont, wedding crashing in Tahoe and rocking out to country concerts in the Bay Area. Her favorite adventure so far was hiking through the Flatirons in Boulder, CO, when Max got down on one knee and asked her to be his bride. They have many more adventures to come this year, including road tripping through the Balkans, exploring Chicago, and getting married with all their favorite people in Megan’s hometown of Newport Beach, CA.

This one was done at Balboa in the fog, and honestly, it worked perfectly. Soft light, calm energy, and nothing distracting. A great reminder that headshots do not have to be stiff or overly polished to feel professional.
