The clouds in the sky made for a gorgeous backdrop and also gave us full access to the entire beach! Corona Del Mar has proven to be the best local beach when it comes to family portrait photography. High Tides and Low Tides

It’s always a good idea to pay attention to the tide when you decide to have your family portrait at the beach. Little Corona is a very challenging beach to shoot at during high tide. This tide website provides tide charts for the entire month. It’s always best to schedule your Corona Del Mar Family Portrait session during low tide for the best results. We have been there when the waves were going all the way up to the stairs!

It’s also a good idea to arrive 15 minutes early if possible. If we are having good weather, the parking can be a bit challenging!
