Lumberjack Birthday Cake Smash

We were so excited to finally photograph a Lumberjack birthday cake smash! Lumberjacks are all the rage right now (if you’ve been sleeping under a rock!) We knew we would have to search far a wide to make this cake smash unique. First we searched for a lumberjack backdrop and discovered one at Intuition Backgrounds. Next, we needed to find a tree stump and found a perfect one at Lemondrop. After we knew the background was coming together nicely, we got in touch with the cake designers at French’s Cupcake Bakery. Rosie had the perfect idea- a log cake! Sew Happy Boutique made the adorable red flannel banner in the background.

We  shopped around the web for the cute lantern and small logs seen in the background. The red flannel puff balls were made from napkins and the small trees we’re left over Christmas decorations. Camden’s mom came through with the sweet flannel birthday hat and matching bib. We have been so happy to photograph all three of her boys over the years and can’t wait for the next fun theme.
