Newport Beach Country Club Wedding Photography Megan + Max

We are still talking about Max and Megan’s amazing Newport Beach Country Club wedding! The production was perfectly coordinated by Chloe and her team at Aster and Park Events. We arrived at the bride’s parents home that morning to capture details and the girls getting ready. We met up with Michael (our newest associate videographer) earlier that morning and came up with a game plan for the day. We were so excited to be working together for this wedding! When the girls were finished, we all headed over to the Newport Beach Country Club for the first look.

Newport Beach Country Club Wedding

Since this was our first time at the Newport Beach Country Club, we wanted to get there and figure out the best photo locations. We met up with the venue coordinator Erica who gave us a quick tour and let us know that this would be the first wedding ceremony on the lawn! We were excited to get to work and not only document the wedding for our client, but also for the venue! They gave us full access to the golf course (which is not the norm for country clubs) We had a guide who drove us around and let us know when we were safe to shoot 🙂 We absolutely loved the back area where we found large trees, a lake, and water fall.

Ceremony on the green!

The new ceremony area was beautiful and only steps away from the club. This was a dusk ceremony, so the sunlight was gorgeous! Megan and Max had prepared heartfelt vows to each other (our fav part) and had lovely string arrangements in the background by OC Strings.

Time to party!

This couple had two things in mind for this reception; dancing and lots of drinking! The party was nonstop, from the moment the dance floor opened up. The entire day was perfect and we had a blast being a small part of it 🙂 Congrats Megan and Max- we love you guys!

Simple Sophistication

We are on Instagram
Have you ever noticed how the most meaningful moments don’t need much at all?
The power was out in the church during this baptism, which made everything feel quieter and more intentional. Just family, faith, and a moment that truly mattered. Sometimes simplicity has a way of stripping things back to what is most important.
Who says Christmas photos have to be serious?

This family showed up in red, brought the energy, and leaned fully into the fun. The funny poses, the laughs, and the personalities are exactly what made this session feel so them. These are the photos you smile at every time you walk by them.
Do your headshots actually feel like you?

This one was done at Balboa in the fog, and honestly, it worked perfectly. Soft light, calm energy, and nothing distracting. A great reminder that headshots do not have to be stiff or overly polished to feel professional.
2025 looked like:
• 152 sessions
• New faces, familiar faces
• More gratitude than I can fit here
This work continues to surprise me. I’m thankful for the trust, the connection, and the moments I was honored to document this year. If you were part of it, thank you.
Do you ever realize how much changes in just one year?

This was their session from last year, and looking back at these candid moments is such a reminder of why yearly photos matter. You don’t notice the little changes day to day, but you feel them when you see them like this.
