Corona Del Mar Beach Engagement Session – Cynthia + Erick
Cynthia and Erick had to make a compromise for their Corona Del Mar beach engagement session. Erick loves the beach, but Cynthia prefers hiking and the great outdoors. We had to do our homework and find a location that would work for both! Little Corona is our favorite local beach for portrait sessions so we hit up google maps to find the nearest hiking trail. And as a matter of fact, there was a cool little trail right up the street called the Buck Gully Trailhead!
After a quick outfit change and a short drive, we headed to the beach! You certainly can’t go wrong with a Corona Del Mar Beach engagement session. The rocks, sand, and surf particularly make a beautiful backdrop for any session. Cynthia and Erick will be getting married at the Hyatt Regency Newport Beach this summer! How they met

We were acquaintances in high school. During senior year, we had classes together in which we knew no one else except each other. Because of this, we partnered together on school work and projects. As time went on, we started spending a lot of time together, in and out of school. Eventually, feelings developed.

Erick had bought the ring and didn’t really have any idea how to propose. On a whim, he decided to bring the ring and keep it in his pocket on his sister’s wedding day. When the wedding was almost over, he asked me out to the swimming pool area for some fresh air. He waited for the time to be 11:11 and told me to make a wish (which is something I do on a regular bases.) When my eyes were closed, he got down on one knew. When I opened her eyes, he asked me, “Did your wish come true?” And it did.
